Amahiru =  Combining Traditional Metal With Melodic And Oriental-Infused Elements

After announcing their debut album last week, Amahiru is not letting anyone catch their breath: Today sees the release of Amahiru’s first single “Hours”

This track is the first and brand-new taste of what to expect from the newly formed metal powerhouse.

Frédéric Leclercq (Kreator, Sinsaenum, Ex-Dragonforce) and SAKI (Mary’s Blood & NEMOPHILA, all-female Japanese metal bands), together with the other band members, show their incredible talent on “Hours”. The band’s unique sound, hard guitar riffs and punchy drums combined with very rough but at the same time melodic vocals, is heavily influenced by musical elements from Japan – which especially shows on this first track. Amahiru builds a world of its own.

The self-titled debut album “Amahiru” is going to be released on November 27 via earMUSIC on CD and Digital. The album features 12 brand new tracks from the newly formed band, which was founded by Frédéric Leclercq and SAKI. They met in 2015 when Mary’s Blood opened for Dragonforce in Hongkong and took 4 years to create a completely new metal sound together.
