Soothsayer and CC:DISCO! present ‘In Due Time’ by Spanish producer/DJ Pépe and ‘Tell Meh’ by Zambian-born, Leeds-based producer Comfy Bella; the final two tracks to drop from First Light (Volume II) before the release of the compilation on Friday 7 May.

Premiered on DJ Mag, ‘In Due Time’ is a melodic house banger that sets a delectable pace for the highly anticipated compilation, as the release date looms near. Pépe has released music on revered electronic labels Church, Lobster Theremin and Or:La’s Deep See Frequency and was awarded ‘Spanish Producer of the Year’ by DJ Mag in 2018. Respected by industry peers, Irish duo Bicep recently included 4 x Pépe tracks in their takeover of Spotify UK’s flagship Electronic playlist Altar (360k followers). CC:DISCO! is stoked to welcome Pépe into the First Light family:

“‘In Due Time’ is a classic nod to the beautiful house of the 90's. Pépe has created a dreamy cut that would make you smile and close your eyes at 9am on a deep dance floor in Ibiza. Pépe is one of the most talented cats going round and stoked to have him on this comp.”

Second offering, ‘Tell Meh’ by Comfy Bella is an ambient house/Balearic track that offers one of First Light (Volume II)’s softer and sexier moments, with dreamy vocals and synths reminiscent of Robyn’s most cherished moments. After beginning her career as a vocalist touring with the likes of Nightmares On Wax, Chris Martin, MJCole and Flood, Comfy Bella turned to producing her own unique brand of groove and jazz infused compositions that leaves CC:DISCO! lost for words:

“Comfy Bella, what can I say...? This melodic beautiful soulful jam hits all the right heart strings and her productions and vocals are so on point I can't wait to see what the next few years have in store for her.”

‘In Due Time’ and ‘Tell Meh’ follows the compilation’s first release ‘VGF (DUB)’ by Donald’s House & Lipelis and Hidden Spheres’ ‘Laamore’ (both of which premiered on Les Yeux Orange), and second drop ‘Burning So Hot (feat. Allysha Joy)’ by Steady Weather (premiered digitally on Soundcloud) and Mount Liberation Unlimited’s ‘Debagungar’ (premiered on Bolting Bits) both of which made their radio debut on Triple R: Breakfasters. So far, these hard hitting tracks from First Light (Vol II) have seen major love across Spotify, Apple, Soundcloud and Amazon, plus praise from Resident Advisor, XLR8R, Mixmag, Decoded Mag, Clubbing Spain, Find Your Sounds and Purple Sneakers.

CC:DISCO! recently announced a second First Light Day Party at The Timber Yard for Sunday 16 May due to popular demand. Don’t miss out on seeing her last local show before she returns to Europe for summer!

Soothsayer have completely sold-out of their pre-order stock of the First Light (Vol II)’s transparent orange double LP and urge fans to head to their nearest record store on release day to secure their limited edition copy.
