Today Essie Holt announces signing to independent Booking Agent Seismic Talent alongside an impressive roster of artists including; Alison Wonderland, Kira Puru, Running Touch, The Presets to name but a few.

To celebrate the release of her latest single ‘Wanna Stay Up With You’ Holt has announced two Sydney shows presented in association with Great Southern Nights. The first on the 8th November at Northies, Cronulla, and the second on the 15th November at Soda Factory supported by pop-femme-machine Florian and R&B up and comer BOY SODA respectively. Tickets are free and first in best dressed!
Essie Holt’s latest single ‘Wanna Stay Up With You’ is the product of Holt’s journey of personal-discovery and was written from a place of deep completeness and happiness. The track is an even more direct indie-pop song from Essie with her vocal taking centre stage, sitting right up front with 80’s influenced guitar lines and synth-driven arpeggios that build alongside Essie’s ethereal vocals as they layer, echo, and swell to create another pop gem from the Sydney based songstress.
Alongside the track, Essie Holt has also released a self-produced video edited alongside partner and collaborator HANDSOME as well as a stripped-back version of the single showcasing Essie Holt’s vocal prowess. Both videos can be seen below.
It has been a big year for the budding young pop savant who earlier this year released her debut EP ‘Silent Wars’ which has garnered high praise from media and cemented ‘her place as a blossoming name in homegrown pop’ (Pilerats) as well as featuring on ‘The Walker’ a collaboration with electronic-pop artist HANDSOME.
If the past 12 months are anything to go by, Essie Holt is set for an exciting year ahead and certainly one to watch.
