Killer track from Würst Nürse "Fresh Outta Bedpans" available now

Since 2016, Würst Nürse have been the world’s best and only nurse punk band. Hailing from Melbourne, Australia the band released their debut E.P. “Hot Hot Hot” to wide acclaim in 2018 and since then have toured with the likes of The Damned, Cosmic Psychos and Clowns, playing some of the best venues in the country.

From the power pop melodies of their first EP, the band have since developed a heavier, faster and nastier sound, writing songs based on their experiences being young healthcare professionals by day and reckless, loud, screaming women by night.

The stand alone single “Fresh Outta Bedpans” displays this fast-paced, riff heavy sound reminiscent of classic 90’s punk rock.

This track dropped on Friday the 19th of February and you might have missed it but we are waving at you frantically and thrusting it in your direction if you missed out; that way you get to enjoy it as much as we have thusfar.

This band is one you need to keep both of your eyes on and your ears trained on their next move.

With the main beds of the track being recorded in Feb 2020 by Tim Maxwell (Loser, Grim Rhythm) life was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Reeling from the emotions of dealing with COVID first-hand as frontline workers, Würst Nürse was determined to get a song out to share their experience. Finished off in staggered home recording sessions with the help of Brodie J Brümmer (Flyying Colours) “Fresh Outta Bedpans” is a song about dealing with the chaos of an uncontrollable circumstance. Whether it be in the hospital ward, or the outside world. Würst Nürse are currently working on their second EP due out in 2021.
