During Melboure’s stage-four lockdown, Luke Seymoup has been busy. In August, he released the split EP“VETMOUP” with Vetty Vials from Sydney, arecord designed to connect friends separated by border closures. Now he’s back with a music video for the EP track “Judas,” which was shot and edited entirely in isolation by Luke.“Judas” is an updated version of a song originally taken from Luke’s 2018 all-ukulele EP, “Uke Seymoup.”The new version transforms what was originally an intimate solo track into a loud and emotional full-band arrangement that builds to an enormous final chorus. The song addresses the topic of battling your past mistakes and challenges in order to overcome them and become a better person. The video depicts the battle with the frustrations of lockdown and demonstrates some of what Luke has been up to while unable to perform live: working on music, catching up on Star Wars novels, learning to skateboard and, of course, some meaningless destruction for good measure

“Judas” is streaming now on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp and all good digital retailers as part of the split EP “VETMOUP” with Vetty Vials
