Mild West's 'Life Again' Worth The Wait
They say good things come to those who wait. Well, that must be true because, after a long hiatus today Sydney-based Mild West return with brand new, jangly alt-rock single 'Life Again'.
Imagine for a moment, starry skies and black and white shoot-'em-up westerns. Now, mix that with a hypnotic, danceable melody that holds a nostalgic tenderness. That is the sound of the latest track from Mild West. The members of Mild West have found themselves miles apart, living in three separate cities, yet have overcome this obstacle, creating an utterly unique and seamless sound.
However, evocative and dreamy the sound of 'Life Again', the track focuses on the serious topic of innovation created to improve humanity. "Change seems to be the only constant in our world, and inspiration for grand ideas often appears out of nowhere in hope of improving our day to day lives," explains Mild West.
No strangers to the stage, Mild West were hand-chosen by industry tastemakers triple j Unearthed to play Festival Of The Sun. They have also shared the stage with both national and international acts at Byron Bay's renowned Falls Festival and opened for Ruby Fields on her 2019 national tour. This latest release teases an exciting return from Mild West with more tunes and plenty of live shows planned for 2022.
Breathing 'life again' into the airwaves, welcome back, Mild West.
