SHAHRIZAL RELEASES COMEBACK SINGLE “DON’T FALL IN LOVE” AFTER A 6-MONTHS HIATUS
The self-taught producer and constantly-reinventing artist has returned after taking a 6 months break, with his latest fearless musical pursuit, “Don’t Fall In Love”, available on all streaming platforms. The latest single acts as the first step into his upcoming album, slated for release in mid-2021. The music video is set to drop in mid-April. The eerily-electrifying genre-bending track is a juxtaposition in its essence; heavy bass and rhythmic thumping drums contrasted with an unsettling shroud of sadness and grief. Shahrizal dives into the complexities of dark R&B, and blurs the lines between experimental and commercial appeal to create his own world, both sonically and visually. Furthermore, all credits - written, produced, mixed, mastered- are filled solely by Shahrizal as he focuses to materialise his singular vision.
About Shahrizal After an impressive track record of 45 songs in a short 2 years; Singaporean-born Shahrizal amassed widespread attention and quickly established himself as an emerging voice in R&B. A fearless artist with a strong spirit, Shahrizal’s endless pursuit of musical storytelling holds no limits. At the age of 22 without any musical background whatsoever, Shahrizal fell in love with music after his first spontaneous songwriting session with performing artist Aliff Sharil and never looked back since. Evolving with each release, Shahrizal’s ‘by any means necessary’ mentality has allowed the independent artist to garner coverage by several publications and appearing on several international playlists on Spotify such as Fresh Finds and Beats & Rhymes.
