The Spaghetti Stains announce tasty news of debut album and tour, with help from Triple J Unearthed’s Level Up Grant

After three juicy releases in recent years, The Spaghetti Stains are back on the menu as they prepare to bring you their most scrumptious cook up yet, courtesy of Triple J Unearthed’s Level Up Grant. Their debut album ‘Essential Ingredients’ will be out for consumption on April 30th. Not only will you be able to sink your teeth into some fresh tasty tunes on your favourite listening device, these spaghetti laden gals have also announced a four stop tour. You can attend the feast yourself!!

Having proudly won Victoria’s regional Level Up Grant from Triple J Unearthed in 2020, Spags couldn’t be more grateful to the grassroots organisation for allowing them to bring the dream of recording a debut album down from the clouds and into the palms of their hands. The wacky women have been spending some quality time together in the studio with Kyle Gutterson (Majak Door, Mona Bay, Danitchy), simmering up a storm of power packed indie rock, surf driven tunes and are damn ready to release some steam, finally lifting the lid on the brimming pasta pot.

The trio are also pleased to announce their debut tour commencing on April 30. They’ll be racking up some miles on the odometer as they jet around Vic and NSW with shows in Melbourne, Ballarat, and Bundalaguah (Central Gippsland), as well as their first appearance in NSW, playing Wollongong. Joined by some of their best muso mates, the girls are ready to roll on out and get gigging.

“It’s a bunch of firsts for us spags; the album being our first full body of work, and the tour our first official band road trip. We can’t wait to bring everyone along for the raging ride” - The Spaghetti Stains.
