London-based pop banger creator Baby Queen has recently dropped another irresistible hit called ‘Want Me,’ written as an ode to one of her favorite actresses, Jodie Comer.

Baby Queen has a reputation for her crazy catchy pop-centric songs, and ‘Want Me’ is no exception. Starting off almost slow and building up to one of the most memorable choruses in a long time, Baby Queen’s strong vocals are showcased among guitar riffs and synth. This tune is undoubtedly a chart-deserving pop hit, and does a fantastic job of showing off her vocal talent.

‘Want Me’ was written by Baby Queen about actress Jodie Comer, and is about unrequited love and an almost childlike crush, along with the insecurities that can come with such feelings. “It’s a bit of a sonic tantrum really,” Baby Queen said, which is a perfect way to describe how the song builds up to a phenomenal explosion of an ending.

She begins the music video wearing an stunning glittery pinstripe suit as she performs with a three-piece band. Living her life and performing the hell out of the song, she’s suddenly in a wedding dress plucking petals off of flowers. Other iconic outfits Baby Queen wears in this video include an all black outfit with pixie-hair and a beret, and a beautiful gold sequin dress. The visuals are incredible and her performance of the song itself is fantastic.

‘Want Me’ is a pop hit. Seriously. You don’t want this song on your playlist, you NEED it. It’s also only a crumb of what to expect from her debut EP ‘Medicine,’ out now!
