Perth rockers Sparrow have just released their first track “Machina” which is from their upcoming album.

In the past, Sparrow have had opportunities to showcase their talent as they have supported bands like Dead Letter Circus, Tonight Alive and Twelve Foot Ninja. Vocalist Sean Hendry says “this new music is the stuff we are most proud of to date”, which will get fans excited for the new album that’s coming out soon.

“Machina” packs a punch from the intro to the collision of heavy guitar riffs before Hendry’s haunting vocals come in and that’s when you can tell that this song is gonna be something big. As soon as the chorus came in, you can hear the strong early Nu metal and rock influences.

The guitar riffs definitely reminded me of Korn and the vocals in the chorus gave some heavy Breaking Benjamin vibes. The chorus is a huge highlight of the track as it shows off the talent that these guys have, the instruments and the vocals work amazing together to create this hard rock track that fans will one hundred percent love. If this is just a taste of what’s to come for this band, then I for one am excited for their future.
