Sydney-based punk quartet FANGZ have just revealed a gripping accompanying music video for their new single ‘Prove Me Wrong’ – filmed, directed and edited by Kim Quint (Polaris, In Hearts WakeRedHook).

Shot across various locations in the band’s hometown of Sydney, the video clip depicts the group performing the song outdoors on a chilling Saturday night. Featuring a guerrilla filming style, atmospheric hazers and elegant neon-lit visuals, the clip’s aesthetic and high energy compliments the track’s compelling sentiment.

Quint talks about the concept behind ‘Prove Me Wrong’:

“The lyrical content of “Prove Me Wrong” is quite powerful - rather than attempt to create a narrative motivated by the concept, we decided to let the music speak for itself, using a high energy band performance as the structure or the video. Instead of focusing on what we didn’t have access to, we decided to capitalise on what we did have - the beautiful cinematic backdrop of a city that we call home.”

Since its release, ‘Prove Me Wrong’ has been supported by the likes of triple jtriple j UnearthedTriple MThe Faction4ZZZRadio AdelaidePhoenix FMKICK (NZ) and Radio Crescendo (NZ).
