Devin Townsend is a relentless force, fearlessly pushing the boundaries of artistic expression.
A genius, an eccentric mastermind, an orchestrator, and a comedian all rolled into one.

All of the above and more will be on display when he delivers a show that celebrates his legendary career, drawing not only from his brilliant new album

Like Devin, Caligula’s music covers the full spectrum of emotions; ferocious and touching, expansive and claustrophobic, poetic and vicious. The groups latest album, 2021’s Rise Radiant is an anthem for the regeneration of self-belief, an exploration of the themes of legacy, and a rallying cry for survival.

The album described by the UK's Prog Magazine as “the best album yet from Caligula’s Horse, a triumph of passion and performance.” has been the greatest achievement for the band thus far with their highest positions in Australia, Germany, UK and the USA yet and it has racked up over 5 million streams to date.

Both artists shared the stage together at Barcelona’s Be Prog My Friend festival, and are signed to prestigious progressive specialist label, InsideOut; and we are beyond thrilled to have Caligual's Horse on board!

The Breeders Announce Australian Tour

Handsome Tours has just dropped exciting news for alt-rock aficionados - The Breeders are making their way back to Australia with a swift east coast tour scheduled for January 2024.

This iconic alt-rock band is all set to kick things off at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on January 22nd. They'll then move to The Forum on the 29th and wrap up the tour at The Tivoli in Brisbane on the 31st. The last time Australian fans got a glimpse of The Breeders was back at Meredith 2018. These forthcoming tour dates are strategically timed, right before The Breeders embark on a colossal arena tour alongside Olivia Rodrigo in New York and Los Angeles. This stint guarantees a fresh generation of music enthusiasts will be enchanted by the band's magic for the very first time.

The Breeders, born from the creative minds of Kim Deal and Tanya Donelly (of Throwing Muses fame), started as a creative outlet and swiftly rose to prominence in the early '90s, leaving a lasting impact on the music landscape. Their big breakthrough arrived with their second album, "Last Splash," featuring the hit single "Cannonball." This 1993 release catapulted the band into the mainstream, achieving platinum status and even sharing the stage with the likes of Nirvana.

After a hiatus in 1995, The Breeders resurfaced in the 2000s, intermittently releasing albums like "Title TK" (2002), "Mountain Battles" (2008), and "All Nerve" (2018). Notably, they celebrated the 30th anniversary of "Last Splash" with an album reissue, extensive tours, and appearances at major festivals like Coachella and Riotfest. They've also shared stages with renowned acts like The Foo Fighters and Belly.

Don't let this opportunity slip by. Make sure you catch The Breeders live during their East Coast tour in January 2024 and experience a nostalgic journey through their legendary alt-rock sound.

DEVO

SUNDAY 26 NOVEMBER - ICC SUPER THEATRE, SYDNEY
WEDNESDAY 29 NOVEMBER - QPAC, BRISBANE
WEDNESDAY 6 DECEMBER - PALAIS THEATRE, MELBOURNE

American new wave legends
DEVO will be performing their last-ever Australian appearances saying Goodbye to 50 years of De-Evolution. Recorded under the auspices of pioneering producer Brian Eno, 1978’s Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo! was seen as a call to arms by some and became an underground hit. Others found DEVO’s sound, imagery, and material threatening.

The band broke through to the mainstream with 1980’s Freedom of Choice, which contained the platinum-selling hit single, Whip It, and represented a peak in their songwriting. The video became an MTV smash, juxtaposing the band’s low-budget futuristic look against a down-home farm setting and hints of S&M.

Albums, New Traditionalists and Oh NO It’s DEVO! continued their 1980’s decade world touring success accompanied by the hit songs, Beautiful World and That’s Good respectively. In1990 the band left the world of touring and recording to pursue film and TV projects.

I PREVAIL
WITH SPECIAL GUESTS THE PLOT IN YOU

Rising to an arena level status and receiving two Grammy Nominations — for Best Rock Album for Trauma and Best Metal Performance for their single, Bow Down, they are rising to the peak of the alternative music world and making major, undeniable waves beyond it and are kicking into a whole new gear.

After racking up over 100 million streams and receiving praise from Billboard, Rock Sound, Alternative Press, and more,
THE PLOT IN YOU released their fifth album, Swan Song in 2021. Last year, the band's 2018-released single FEEL NOTHING was officially certified Gold by the RIAA and the song is a digital success story that still streams over 2 million times and has enjoyed an exciting beyond-viral moment on TikTok. The track appears on the band's album DISPOSE.

Impacting generations of fans and peers alike, his voice has rallied millions of fans across the globe. Globally Slipknot boast 13 Platinum and 44 Gold albums, three of which debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 (All Hope is Gone, .5 the Gray
Chapter, and We Are Not Your Kind).

PENNYWISE

TUESDAY 5 DECEMBER - THE TIVOLI, BRISBANE
WEDNESDAY 6 DECEMBER - COOLANGATTA HOTEL,
GOLD COAST
FRIDAY 8 DECEMBER - DRIFTERS WHARF, CENTRAL COAST
SATURDAY 9 DECEMBER - TORQUAY HOTEL, TORQUAY

Flying the flag for all things raucous, Golden State staples PENNYWISE will flex their fiery flair, with the iconic California punk rockers are no strangers to our shores.

Formed in the South Bay of Los Angeles—a neighbourhood with a rich punk-rock history,
PENNYWISE began in 1988. The band went on to amass an international following with their relentless touring and a melodic, high-energy sound fusing classic punk, surf punk, and blistering hardcore. Through the years, they have solidified their place in punk history with 12 albums under their belts and iconic songs like ‘Fuck Authority,’ ‘Alien,’ and ‘Bro Hymn’ (their timeless ode to brotherhood and departed friends).

Resolutely work outside the margins of the mainstream, the band has emerged as an enduringly vibrant staple on the worldwide touring circuit.

ENTER SHIKARI

MONDAY 4 DECEMBER - THE TRIFFID, BRISBANE
WEDNESDAY 6 DECEMBER - LIBERTY MUSIC HALL, SYDNEY

Since forming back in 2003,
ENTER SHIKARI have gone on to release seven full-length albums with their latest release, A Kiss For The Whole World, debuting #1 on the UK chart, while garnering ongoing industry acclaim, and multiple awards for good measure. And armed with high-octane lashings of punk, electronica and alt rock palettes alongside personal lyricism and oft-politically charged thematics, ENTER SHIKARI continue to be one of the most magnetic forces in the modern musical landscape.

ENTER SHIKARI have played somewhere in the region of 3000 live shows around the globe, including three headline arena-sized tours in the UK, substantial UK / Europe arena supports with The Prodigy, Linking Park and 30 Seconds To Mars, and more big and small festivals than it would be possible to list fully in this space. 2023 kicked straight off with the announcement of their new album, and what became known as the Residency Tour, which took in five British cities over the course of one week, repeating for three months.

BEHEMOTH

FRIDAY 24 NOVEMBER - POWERSTATION, AUCKLAND
MONDAY 27 NOVEMBER - THE TRIFFID, BRISBANE
WEDNESDAY 29 NOVEMBER - THE GOV, ADELAIDE
TUESDAY 5 DECEMBER - MAX WATTS, MELBOURNE

In the annals of metal there is no band more synonymous with an unswerving commitment to the single-minded defiance of expectation than
BEHEMOTH. Over the course of their remarkable 31-year career, these Polish hellraisers – spearheaded by Adam Darski, aka Nergal – are more than just the architects of their country’s legendary extreme metal scene. Over the course of three decades and previous 11 albums, Nergal’s singular vision has forged BEHEMOTH into something far more than a mere black metal band.

Beyond any confines of genre, they have grown to become nothing less than the personification of rebellion, individuality and unflinching self-expression informed by a literate worldview and worldliness that’s resulted in a locking of horns with everything from the mainstream press to the Polish Catholic church – most notably manifesting in Nergal’s trial for blasphemy in 2010 that only served to expose the deep-seated hypocrisies that his music seeks to challenge. It also highlighted the distinct lack of fucks that he has to give.

SEPULTURA

SUNDAY 26 NOVEMBER - METROPOLIS, FREMANTLE
TUESDAY 28 NOVEMBER - THE GOV, ADELAIDE
WEDNESDAY 29 NOVEMBER - MAX WATTS, MELBOURNE
MONDAY 4 DECEMBER - PRINCESS THEATRE, BRISBANE

It goes without saying that the global metal scene would not be the same without SEPULTURA. For nearly 40 years now, the Brazilian icons are not only a band revered worldwide; they have been, are and forever will be at the very forefront of Thrash Metal, trailblazing ever since they released their long-since legendary debut album Morbid Visions in 1986.

While quickly establishing themselves as leaders of the second wave of Thrash already in the late eighties, to this day they never came even close to stagnation. Now three albums deep into what may very well be their strongest incarnation yet, SEPULTURA are an unleashed power to be reckoned with, uniting bucketloads of experience and youthful vigour in a totally revived way.

TAKING BACK SUNDAY

WEDNESDAY 29 NOVEMBER - 170 RUSSELL, MELBOURNE
TUESDAY 5 DECEMBER - PRINCESS THEATRE, BRISBANE
WEDNESDAY 6 DECEMBER - FACTORY THEATRE, SYDNEY

TAKING BACK SUNDAY are extremely excited heading into 2023 with their 8th studio album, 152, out at the end of the month. From the band's landmark 2002 debut Tell All Your Friends to 2016's Tidal Wave, TAKING BACK SUNDAY has evolved from a key player in an early 2000s scene to a genre defying rock band without ever ceasing to push the limitations of their sound.

In between all of their constant touring with acts like My Chemical Romance, Jimmy Eat World, Third Eye Blind and others,.
TAKING BACK SUNDAY are best known for their explosive riffs, affecting vocals, and epic choruses that has resonated with their audience for so long.

PVRIS
WITH SPECIAL GUESTS MAGNOLIA PARK & CHEZ

TUESDAY 28 NOVEMBER - FACTORY THEATRE, SYDNEY
WEDNESDAY 29 NOVEMBER - CROXTON BANDROOM, MELBOURNE
TUESDAY 5 DECEMBER - THE TRIFFID, BRISBANE

Over the past decade, producer, singer/songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Lyndsey Gunnulfsen has trailblazed her own path with her genre-breaking project PVRIS. EVERGREEN marks Gunnulfsen's most cinematic sonic and visual project to date.

2023 marks
PVRIS' most critically-acclaimed and exciting chapter. From Coachella, to Reading And Leeds, to Lollapalooza, Gunnulfsen has solidified PVRIS as an international touring phenomenon. Throughout her career, Gunnulfsen’s dynamic vocal abilities and instrumentation transcend effortlessly across her largely co-produced catalog, from enchanting and angelic harmonies, to aggressive and gritty deliveries that rival some of rock’s greatest.

Prolific five-piece
MAGNOLIA PARK will be releasing their new album Halloween Mixtape II on October 27. It's the follow up to 2022’s debut record Baku’s Revenge and spiritual counterpart to 2021’s Halloween Mixtape, Their kaleidoscopic fusion of sound is on display more than ever as their aesthetic is a contemporary fusion of magnetic pop, punk, nu-metal, hip-hop, phonk and 2000s theatre-emo.

SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL

TUESDAY 28 NOVEMBER - 170 RUSSELL, MELBOURNE
TUESDAY 5 DECEMBER - MANNING BAR, SYDNEY
WEDNESDAY 6 DECEMBER - THE GOV, ADELAIDE

SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL emerges from the darkest corners of the metal scene, wielding an uncompromising sound that resonates with the intensity of a thousand thunderstorms. Led by the formidable frontman, Alex Terrible, their ferocious blend of deathcore and blackened metal is a sonic onslaught that leaves no survivors.

SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL the sonic architects of chaos.

ROYAL & THE SERPENT

WEDNESDAY 29 NOVEMBER - CROWBAR, SYDNEY

Royal’s unfiltered songwriting has proved wildly resonant to her ever-growing fanbase and led to such triumphs as touring with Demi Lovato and making an appearance on the pop superstar’s latest full-length. She's performed at major festivals like When We Were Young and Firefly and toured with artists like grandson and PVRIS. Bring Me The Horizon Down Under Tour With Special Guests Sleep Token, Make Them Suffer & daine

The rock world is on fire as the undisputed hottest and most successful band on the planet, BRING ME THE HORIZON, announces their most extensive Australian headline tour to date. Prepare to be blown away by the ultimate stacked lineup featuring none other than SLEEP TOKEN, MAKE THEM SUFFER, and the genre-bending sensation DAINE.

Riding high on the waves of their latest explosive single, "DArkSide," BRING ME THE HORIZON is set to conquer Australia in April 2024. Following their triumphant headline performance at Good Things Festival 2022, the band has been rocking stages across the globe, including a monumental headline set at Download Festival in June 2023, captivating over 100,000 fans. And there's more in the works—their highly anticipated studio album, "POST HUMAN: NeX GEn," is just around the corner.

"DArkSide" joins an impressive string of hits, including "LosT," "AmEN!," "DiE4u," and "sTraNgeRs," all part of the globally acclaimed Post Human series, amassing over a staggering 310 million streams to date.

BRING ME THE HORIZON is no stranger to accolades. With BRIT and Grammy nominations, multi-platinum releases, over 1 billion YouTube views, and a spot among the top 500 most streamed artists globally on Spotify, they have been dominating the music world. Their four #1 ARIA Albums in the last decade showcase their unwavering musical prowess. Their "POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR" EP, which kicked off the "POST HUMAN" era in 2020, debuted at Number 1 on the UK Album chart and #3 on the ARIA chart in Australia. In 2022, they graced the BRIT Awards stage alongside Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran for an electrifying performance of "Bad Habits."

SLEEP TOKEN, with a rapidly growing cult following, left Australian audiences spellbound during their first Australian headline tour in April, selling out every show and leaving fans yearning for more. Their third studio album, "Take Me Back To Eden," debuted at #3 on the ARIA album charts and garnered critical acclaim worldwide. The album introduced some of SLEEP TOKEN's heaviest material to date, underscoring their remarkable chemistry and profound connection to music. Their live performances, a brilliant replication of this chemistry, have led to sold-out shows worldwide, including a 10-minute sellout of London's iconic Wembley Arena.

MAKE THEM SUFFER, hailing from Perth, has been celebrating their most successful year to date. Commemorating the tenth anniversary of their debut album "Neverbloom" with a sold-out Australian tour, the band has masterfully balanced touring with new music releases. Their striking track, "Ghost Of Me," dropped earlier this year, solidifying their presence on the scene. Having just wrapped up the Monsters of Oz tour across North America with Parkway Drive, The Amity Affliction, and Northlane, the metalcore quintet is poised for a UK tour alongside Stray From The Path before returning home for a summer stint and a grand finale at the Good Things Festival 2023.

Fans of BRING ME THE HORIZON are well acquainted with the genre-blurring artist and songwriter, DAINE. Beginning with the Oli Sykes-featuring track, "SALT," which left an indelible mark on the music scene, DAINE has been on a journey of continuous elevation, releasing two captivating EPs (2022's "QUANTUM JUMPING" and 2023's "shapeless"). Their latest track, "BITE BACK," adds another exciting layer to the Melbourne performer's evolving vision.

Don't miss what is destined to be one of the hottest tours of 2024! Lineups like this are a rare occurrence, and tickets will be in high demand. Consider yourself warned - this is a musical event you won't want to miss!

In Brisbane, the chaotic mathcore of She Cries Wolf will leave you exhilarated, while in Sydney, the brooding post-metal darkness of Mountain Wizard Death Cult will envelop you in its atmospheric embrace. As you make your way to Adelaide, the experimental electronic sounds of Lonelyspeck will challenge your perception of music. Melbourne will bring the collision of new-age post-hardcore and '90s grunge courtesy of Post Heaven, and in Perth, prepare for the onslaught of crust-infused black metal by Halo of Teeth and the raw energy of screamo revival by PUKE.

Greg Puciato's musical journey has been nothing short of astonishing. From his early days as the frontman for The Dillinger Escape Plan, a pioneering force in extreme music, he has consistently pushed boundaries. He's been a key member of the heavy metal supergroup Killer Be Killed and a vital part of the synth-pop sensation The Black Queen. Puciato even joined Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains in his solo endeavor and currently leads the post-Every Time I Die supergroup Better Lovers.

However, Puciato's ultimate goal was always to embark on a solo project free from boundaries and limitations. His 2020 debut album, 'Child Soldier: Creator of God,' was a testament to his unbridled creativity. With longtime TDEP producer Steve Evetts and drummers like Chris Pennie (Dillinger Escape Plan), Ben Koller (Converge), and Chris Hornbrook (Poison The Well) by his side, Puciato wrote and performed most of the album himself. He even established the independent record label Federal Prisoner to self-release it.

Following up swiftly in late 2020 with the experimental live album/studio EP/visual hybrid 'Fuck Content,' Puciato continued to defy genre constraints. His second album, 'Mirrorcell,' released in 2022, showcased a more cohesive yet diverse form of razor-sharp alternative metal.

Now, as Puciato gears up to bring his visionary project to Australia, audiences are in for an unforgettable experience. Having toured extensively in the USA and Europe in 2023 with a full live band, he's chosen Australia as his next destination.

Joining Puciato on this mesmerizing journey is the trap metal producer King Yosef. Known for his bombastic approach and unique style of industrial trap metal, he'll add a whole new dimension to the tour. His live performance is an eclectic mix of influences, resulting in a captivating and unique experience.

Rounding out the ensemble is Trace Amount, the brainchild of Brandon Gallagher, formerly of hardcore band Old Wounds. With a penchant for confrontational, harsh industrial noise, Gallagher's debut album 'Anti Body Language' was released on Puciato's Federal Prisoner label. This tour marks Gallagher's inaugural visit to Australia, adding a fresh layer of intensity to the lineup.

Greg Puciato's Australian tour promises to be an unmissable event, a confluence of genres and talents that will ignite your passion for music and redefine your understanding of sonic possibilities. Prepare to be transported into a world of musical innovation and creativity, a journey through the mind of a true musical visionary.

SPARTA To Perform 'Wiretap Scars' In Full - May 2024 Australian Tour Dates

SPARTA, the phoenix that emerged from the ashes of the groundbreaking rockers AT THE DRIVE-IN following their disbandment in 2001, was nothing short of a musical revelation for aficionados of postpunk and hardcore genres. The fervor surrounding their debut album, "Wiretap Scars," released in 2002, was palpable and infectious, resonating across the musical landscape. It was a sonic antidote that not only filled the void left by its precursor but exceeded expectations, capturing the hearts of both critics and devoted fans, and carving a distinct niche of its own.

At the core of this extraordinary album were tracks that have since become anthems, notably the iconic single 'Cut Your Ribbon,' and live performances of 'Air' and 'Collapse,' which sent shockwaves through audiences, leaving them yearning for more. But beyond the tracks, "Wiretap Scars" symbolized a transformative moment for Jim Ward, previously recognized primarily as a supporting musician. SPARTA's inception provided Ward with the platform to step into the limelight, channeling his distinctive voice and innovative ideas into the very fabric of this album. It marked a pivotal moment, showcasing his vocal prowess and creative contributions that elevated SPARTA to unparalleled heights.

"Wiretap Scars" wasn't just an album; it was an auditory odyssey that echoed the audacious beauty that had defined the former trio's discography. Jim Ward's formidable vocals, amplified by the prowess of the guitars, propelled SPARTA to the brink, teetering on the edge where sheer sonic brilliance met the fault line of musical revolution. The album boasted the signature elements of classic ATDI—razor-sharp guitar strokes, the intense throb of punk beats, and vocals that pierced the listener's soul. Yet, it delved deeper, inviting listeners into a realm of darker textures, quieter interludes, smoother executions, and a deliberate tempo that added layers of sophistication and complexity. "Wiretap Scars" was not merely an album; it was an audacious artistic statement—a sonic journey that defied conventions and left an indelible mark on the musical landscape. SPARTA had arrived, conquering hearts and heralding a new era of musical prowess. Their debut album had set the stage for what would be an exhilarating journey through the realms of sound and a promising future for the band.

PAUL McCARTNEY – 2nd & Final Sydney show added due to overwhelming demand!

It’s official: with news of his impending tour, Australia has gone crazy all over again for Paul McCartney!

One of the most successful singer-songwriters and performers of all time, Paul McCartney will bring his acclaimed Got Back Tour to stadiums this October/November, marking his first live shows in Australia since 2017. Kicking off with an intimate arena show in Adelaide, the tour will then travel to Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast.

Today, due to overwhelming demand, Frontier Touring is pleased to announce a 2nd and final Sydney show has been added. The new performance will take place at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on Saturday 28 October – making it two nights back-to-back at the venue for the legendary two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee.

McCartney launched the Got Back tour in February 2022, completing 16 huge shows across the US before performing what the British Times newspaper described as the “best gig ever” with his history-making set at Glastonbury in June 2022.

Tickets for this just-announced 2nd Sydney show – as well as all dates previously announced – will be available in both the paulmccartney.com and Frontier Members presales on Wednesday 9 August (start times for both presales staggered from 11am AEST – see here for further details). General public tickets for all shows will then go on sale Friday 11 August (times staggered).

The Paul McCartney live experience is everything any music lover could ever want from a rock show – and so much more: Nearly three hours’ worth of the greatest moments from the last 50 years of music, dozens of songs that have formed the soundtracks of our lives. Featuring brand new production and state of the art audio and video technology, not to mention a staggering collection of the best songs ever written – songs like ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Live and Let Die’, ‘Band on the Run’,  ‘Let It Be’ and so many more –  every Paul McCartney show promises a once in a lifetime evening that transcends and elevates the potential of live music.

‘McCartney and his tightly drilled combo just kept knocking them out for three solid gold hours, one absolutely storming classic after another, sending waves of excitement up the packed hillside, and turning the biggest crowd of the 2022 Glastonbury festival into the world’s biggest choir. I mean, really, you haven’t heard a singalong until you’ve heard 200,000 voices doing the na na nas on ‘Hey Jude’’ – ★★★★★ Daily Telegraph

Pendulum announce Australia & New Zealand headline tour – October 2023

+ Special guest ShockOne | Tickets on sale Monday 7 August ‘Halo’ (Matt Tuck Rework) out next week

MG Live and Frontier Touring are thrilled to announce one of the biggest electronic bands of all time, Pendulum, will return to Australia and New Zealand for five huge arena headline shows this October!

Promising new music on the horizon and with three Platinum albums to their name so far including renowned 2005 debut Hold Your Colour and a UK #1 and #2 for 2010’s Immersion and 2008’s In Silico, the Perth-born drum and bass/rock band – comprised of Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillien, Peredur ap Gwynedd and KJ Sawka – are one of Australia’s most successful musical exports, having sold over a million albums in the UK alone. Last performing on AU/NZ shores in early 2021, today’s tour news comes in the wake of Pendulum’s current single, their first new material in over two years – ‘Halo’, out now and featuring Matt Tuck, lead singer of emo rockets Bullet For My Valentine.

WATCH: Pendulum – The New Era

As a live band Pendulum are an unstoppable, award-winning act, selling out global arena tours and playing to thousands across main stage festival performances from Glastonbury, Creamfields, Coachella, Rock Am Ring, Reading and Leeds, and a recent headline slot at Ultra Miami. Tickets go on sale Monday 7 August via frontiertouring.com/pendulum. Fans can sign up for early ticket access to the Frontier Members Presale, which starts Friday 4 August (see website for more info).

Fans should stay tuned for even more new music coming in 2023, the band readying more material for their return to the stage. Says frontman Rob Swire of first taste ‘Halo’, “When it comes to Pendulum, I’ve always tried to create music that sounds like the apocalypse and with ‘Halo’, we’ve gotten closer than ever before.”

In further news today, a week out from its release fans can pre-save (see here) a new offering: ‘Halo’ (Matt Tuck Rework) sees Bullet For My Valentine frontman Matt Tuck reworking the band’s latest single, adding and adjusting elements of the original, resulting in an altogether more aggressive take – stay tuned for the track’s release next Wednesday 9 August. The acclaimed singer joined the band on stage at their landmark Download Festival appearance earlier in June, with fans and critics alike agreeing on the band’s epic live return:

‘Pendulum are by far the best … the five-piece still have dynamism and dancefloor chops’ – The Guardian

‘Donington’s hallowed turf has been rumbling since lunchtime yesterday, but no-one’s thumped it more emphatically than rejuvenated drum and bass supremos Pendulum… this set ultimately stands out as a boundary-busting celebration of how good it feels to lose yourself in a never-ending swell of sound’ – Kerrang

Releasing debut Hold Your Colour in 2005, Pendulum became instantly known for their unique blend of high-tempo productions and energetic shows. The band set about taking the world by storm, and by the time 2008’s In Silico dropped, Pendulum was one of electronic music’s biggest live acts. 2010’s Immersion quickly became their biggest album release to date. After going on hiatus, in 2016 Rob and Gareth formed offshoot Knife Party, which reached similarly dizzying headline status. Now, the band are making their live return, and in August will take to the stage alongside nu-metal legends Limp Bizkit at a highly anticipated one day event in London’s Gunnersbury Park.

Joining Pendulum at all dates is fellow Perth-bred drum and bass legend ShockOne, aka Karl Thomas. After wrapping a nine-date European tour in March and five shows in the US in May, Thomas returns with latest track ‘Heart On Fire’, featuring Pauline Kerr. Ever since the release of The ShockOne EP way back in 2009, which featured the chart-topping ‘Polygon’, ShockOne has been one of the hottest names in Australia’s dance scene… and now he’ll join good pals Pendulum as they cross the nation this October.

Gearing up for a monumental return to AU/NZ this Spring, get set as Pendulum bring their stunning new live show down under at last. As one of the most influential dance acts of recent years, these shows are sure to be incredible. Secure your tickets ASAP to avoid disappointment!

Paul McCartney brings his phenomenal 'Got Back' tour to Australia this October/November!

First Australian dates since his 2017 award-winning tour | Including first visits to Newcastle and Gold Coast | Tickets on sale Friday 11 August

“I’ve got so many amazing memories of my time in Australia over the years. Our last trip was so much fun. We had such an incredible time. Each show was a party so we know this is going to be incredibly special. Australia we are going to rock! I can’t wait to see you.”

Paul McCartney will bring his acclaimed Got Back Tour to Australia this October/November!

Got Back starts with an intimate arena show in Adelaide, the city where The Beatles made history in 1964 on their first visit to Australia. An estimated 350,000 people lined the streets between the airport and Town Hall to catch a glimpse of the band. Paul will then travel to Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast performing in stadiums – with the shows in Newcastle and the Gold Coast being his first concerts there. These dates will see McCartney return for his first live performances in Australia in six years. McCartney was last in Australia in December 2017 (which saw him win a Helpmann Award for Best International Contemporary Concert in 2018 beating the likes of Ed Sheeran), wowing audiences nationwide with a near three-hour show, the Sydney Morning Herald reporting, “If the greatest songs elicit an emotional response too powerful to properly explain, it’s safe to say no review of Paul McCartney’s tour will quite do it justice.”

Tickets go on sale Friday 11 August via frontiertouring.com/paulmccartney. The Frontier Members presale starts Wednesday 9 August (times staggered – see website for details).

In 2017, speaking backstage at Paul’s sell-out show in Sydney, Kylie Minogue said: “Having Paul, Sir Paul, in Australia is incredible. All of Australia wants to see him; half of them can’t get a ticket! The chance for Australians to see Paul on stage singing songs that they know and love and mean so much to them is a beautiful thing and I hope he feels all the love.”

Irrefutably one of the most successful singer-songwriters and performers of all time, McCartney is behind the most beloved catalogue in music. With songs like ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Live and Let Die’, ‘Band on the Run’,  ‘Let It Be’ and so many more, the Paul McCartney live experience is everything any music lover could ever want from a rock show: hours of the greatest moments from the last 60 years of music – dozens of songs from Paul’s solo, Wings and of course Beatles catalogues that have formed the soundtracks of our lives.

McCartney launched the Got Back tour in February 2022, completing 16 huge shows across the US before performing what the British Times newspaper described as the “best gig ever” with his history-making set at Glastonbury in June 2022. Fans and critics who attended the Got Back dates were unanimous in their praise:

‘The planet’s greatest living songwriter … When he’s leading a stadium packed with 70,000 fans singing along, it’s hard not to be stunned by the recognition of everything McCartney achieved’ – ★★★★★ The Independent

‘McCartney and his tightly drilled combo just kept knocking them out for three solid gold hours, one absolutely storming classic after another, sending waves of excitement up the packed hillside, and turning the biggest crowd of the 2022 Glastonbury festival into the world’s biggest choir. I mean, really, you haven’t heard a singalong until you’ve heard 200,000 voices doing the na na nas on ‘Hey Jude’’ – ★★★★ Daily Telegraph

‘As much as McCartney made history with the Beatles, he’s making history again… Being on stage in front of 60,000 people being able to bellow songs that you wrote 60 years prior is not something that God wrote into the human contract, but McCartney is out to prove nature and the Almighty wrong’ – Variety

‘A masterclass from the greatest living cultural figure – a true privilege to behold’ ★★★★★ The i Newspaper

Paul and his band have performed in an unparalleled range of venues and locations worldwide. From outside the Colosseum in Rome, Moscow’s Red Square, Buckingham Palace, The White House and a free show in Mexico for over 400,000 people. To the last ever show at San Francisco’s Candlestick Park where The Beatles played their final concert in 1966, a 2016 week in the California desert that included two headline sets at the historic Desert Trip festival, a jam-packed club gig for a few hundred lucky fans at Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace, two Glastonbury Festival headline slots and even one performance broadcast live into Space!

Featuring Paul’s longtime band – Paul “Wix” Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass/guitar), Rusty Anderson (guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (drums) – and constantly upgraded state of the art audio and video technology that ensures an unforgettable experience from every seat in the house, a Paul McCartney concert is never anything short of life-changing.

Make no mistake – this is a once in a lifetime event. Paul McCartney’s Got Back Australian Tour is not to be missed! Act quickly to secure your tickets.

Cattle Decapitation & Fallujah - Support Announced For Sept Tour

The most brutal tour of the year just got more devastating.

Two of the most cutting-edge bands in extreme metal, Cattle Decapitation and Fallujah, are teaming up for a tour that will take you on a journey through the darkest depths of the human psyche.

Joining them on all shows, except for Melbourne are Mélancolia.

Trapped in the claws of despair like messengers of darkness, Mélancolia are a tormented entity. Melodic blackened deathhore that melds elements of industrial goth and nü-metal with its pommeling foundations, resulting in what can only be described as sonic horror. Coupled with their Cradle Of Filth inspired visuals, it's the stuff of nightmares. Australia has never produced an act like this..

The Melbourne show will feature the insanely caustic Body Prison.

Those attending the Sydney show will need a few extra days to recuperate as the Metro gets destroyed by four acts of unrivalled heaviness. Joining Cattle Decapitation, Fallujah and Mélancolia are Australia's Kings of technical death metal, Psycroptic.

Two decades and eight albums in, Psycroptic have followed an organic progression along a clandestine path from which they will never stray. More technical and brutally intuitive than ever, Australia’s finest extreme act have truly mastered their craft.

Those who attended the 2018 Cattle/Psycroptic tour know what they are in for.
Newcomers, you've been warned.

**********

No one articulates the real apocalypse humanity is facing as vividly and succinctly as California's Cattle Decapitation. A force to be reckoned with for over two decades, the band deliver blistering death-grind that forces us to confront the ugly truth about our species. With their latest album, Terrasite, they continue to push the boundaries of their sound, creating a sonic landscape that is both terrifying and beautiful.  With themes that touch on anger, despair, and our self-made impending doom, Cattle Decapitation's message is a wake-up call to humanity.

Bay Area beasts, Fallujah, bring a more progressive and technical approach to the table. With five albums under their belt, they have established themselves as true pioneers in the tech-metal scene. Their latest release, Empyrean, is a masterpiece of atmospheric soundscapes and existential themes that will leave you reeling.

These shows will take you on a journey that is both harrowing and exhilarating. If you're ready to face the end times head on, then make sure you don't miss this epic bill. It might just be the last thing you see before the lights go out.

Interpol and Bloc Party announce Australian co-headline tour

Indie rock heavyweights Interpol and Bloc Party are reuniting with cult fans down under, today announcing a mammoth co-headline tour hitting Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this November.

SIGN UP FOR PRESALE

Marking their first return to Australia since 2019, revered New York rock-outfit Interpol will bring their magnetic stage presence and atmospheric back catalogue to devoted music fans with acclaimed alt-anthems from records like Turn On The Bright Lights, Antics and El Pintor.

Forming in Manhattan in 1997, Interpol are considered one of the quintessential bands of the early 2000s New York indie music scene, alongside artists like The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio and The National. With their live show described as a “transcendent experience”, crowds will revel in cornerstone tracks as well as music from their 7th studio album The Other Side of Make-Believe live in Australia for the first time.

Interpol said “We are so happy to be hitting the road with our friends Bloc Party in Australia. Come on down!

Ready to amplify Australian stages for the first time since 2018, UK’s acclaimed indie-rock force Bloc Party are set to electrify with their genre-bending catalogue of hailed gems from Silent Alarm, A Weekend In The City, Intimacy and 2022 LP release Alpha Games. If that’s not enough, Bloc Party have released two more singles this year, “Keep It Rolling” and “High Life” and will release The High Life EP on Friday 21 July.

Bloc Party got their break in 2003 when lead singer Kele Okereke gave a copy of single “She’s Hearing Voices” to Franz Ferdinand’s lead singer Alex Kapranos and BBC Radio 1 DJ Steve Lamacq, who subsequently played the song on his show labelling the track as “genius”. 💃 G Flip shares new single 'The Worst Person Alive'; Announces second album DRUMMER 💃

Melbourne multi-hyphenate G Flip shares their new single and video 'The Worst Person Alive’ - out now via Future Classic. Produced by G Flip, Aidan Hogg (Jaguar Jonze, Holy Holy, Hope D) and Charlie Brand (Weezer, Emily Burns) the track boasts everything we love about G Flip; powerful vocals, climactic percussion, and bittersweet lyrics that hit home.

LISTEN TO 'THE WORST PERSON ALIVE'

Speaking of the single, G Flip says; "This song is about feeling like the worst person alive after being the one to instigate a breakup. One day you’re in a relationship and the other person is your number 1, they know everything about you, they know you better than anyone else, you’ve had some of your best memories with that person and then you break up and you sadly become strangers. I really hate that it’s all or nothing.  It’s such a drastic change - 'Last year I was the love of your life, now I’m the worst person alive'"

The single release comes with the announcement of G Flip’s highly anticipated, second album DRUMMER being released on Friday, 11 August 2023.

Of the forthcoming album, G Flip shares; “My new album is called DRUMMER. I’m going full ballistic in my brain to announce this as I've been waiting years to share this with you all, so I'm gonna go have about 20 margaritas to celebrate. Growing up watching pop music icons, I never saw a solo artist whose main instrument was drums.  I wanted to make the album that my kid self dreamed of, a hybrid of pop/rock but with drums out the front. Incorporating groove, tempo, feel and drum moments while still making catchy pop music. I honestly can’t wait for you to hear this album in August.”.

‘The Worst Person Alive’ will be the second single to feature on DRUMMER, following on from ‘Be Your Man’ - A heart-on-sleeve love song, which premiered on triple j and became a viral moment online, earning the single widespread acclaim.

G Flip will return home for the DRUMMER Australian Tour this August/September, performing ten huge shows in Brisbane, Cairns, Adelaide, Perth, Torquay, Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle. The long-awaited tour news is a homecoming celebration, marking their first headline dates on Aussie soil since 2019. ABOUT G FLIP

G Flip is becoming the role model they never had growing up. The rising superstar makes the kind of high-powered rock pop music that could only come from the heart and mind of a drummer. A near-lifelong musician who took up drumming at just nine-years-old, the Australian singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist crafts every track with a deep-rooted instinct for rhythm and its potential to impact the listener on a purely visceral level. As shown on their debut smash single ‘About You’—a 2018 release named a Best New Track by Pitchfork, with Rolling Stone soon hailing G Flip as an “Artist You Need To Know”—the Melbourne-born and now L.A-based phenomenon matches that potent musicianship with equal parts sonic originality, raw emotionality, and fantastically outspoken point-of-view (an element informed by their experience as a queer, non-binary artist). After achieving major success as a DIY sensation, G Flip now ushers in a bold new era with DRUMMER: a sophomore album cementing their status as a truly singular force of nature. When approaching their sophomore effort they had a clarity of vision, “When I was a kid trying to find someone to identify with, I would’ve killed to see a drumming pop star on MTV. It’s something I’d been waiting for forever, and when writing this album, I had to take my best shot at becoming the person I’d been searching for.”

Devin Townsend Announces Australian Tour November 2023

"tonight should cement beyond any doubt – if any was left – that he’s not just a spectacle but his body of work is near peerless in its creativity and sheer life-affirming splendour." 10/10 Distorted Sound Magazine

Devin Townsend is a relentless force, fearlessly pushing the boundaries of artistic expression.
A genius, an eccentric mastermind, an orchestrator, and a comedian all rolled into one.

His ability to seamlessly transition from creating crushingly heavy sounds to crafting ethereal and otherworldly ambience is not merely a display of immense talent; it lies at the very core of his being. Each album he releases provides a glimpse into the depths of his soul, a tormented spirit finding solace and therapy in his own creations.

From the raw intensity of Strapping Young Lad to the ethereal beauty of Ocean Machine, from Infinity to The Devin Townsend Project, from the atmospheric tranquility of Casualties Of Cool to the zany universe of Ziltoid, his repertoire is an infinite spectrum of exploration.

Townsend's connection to music, where he perceives notes as vibrant colours and captivating shapes, serves as a cornerstone of his creativity. It breathes new life into his sonic landscapes, immersing listeners in a world that evokes profound emotional responses. Attending a Devin Townsend concert is not a mere event, it is a transcendental experience that leaves you with more questions than answers, yet undeniably humbled.

The current tour has seen Townsend curate a set list that celebrates his legendary career, drawing not only from his brilliant new album Lightwork, but delving all the way to bring back some fan favourites and surprises.

With their anticipated sixth studio album This Is Why, released in February, the band topped charts in Australia and the UK and delivered “some of their most fearless songwriting to date” (NME).

“the most vital rock band of their generation” – Louder Sound

“Paramore are bigger, better and more beloved than ever…”Rolling Stone

Currently taking their mammoth live show across North America, Paramore have had a whirlwind start to 2023; embarking on a South American tour in March, joining Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour for two nights in Arizona, playing two sold out Madison Square Garden shows in June and recently achieving a career high, blowing crowds away at Bonnaroo with Hayley Williams jumping on stage with Foo Fighters for a surprise rendition of ‘My Hero!’

For the band, who formed as teenagers in Tennessee, their 20-year trajectory has seen them grow from youthful outsiders to bone-fide pop culture icons, permeating the musical landscape by inspiring a new generation of musical talent.
