Ballarat-based indie-pop duo Odd Tastes have just revealed a mysterious accompanying music video for their latest single ‘It’s Alright’ – filmed, directed and edited by Jake Hunter.

The clip depicts group members Will and Georgina Stephens performing the song in various congenial locations. Featuring an array of coloured lighting, prop usage, and a ventriloquist dummy hidden in every shot, the video’s light-heartedness is a nod to the layered effervescence of the song.

Will talks about the meaning behind ‘It's Alright’:

“Everything about the shoot was fun, it was filmed by our friends, and you can see how much fun we had when you watch it!”

Since its release, ‘It’s Alright’ has seen support from the likes of triple jtriple j UnearthedRadio Adelaide and 2RRR. The track has also been praised by online tastemakers NMEMusic FeedsBackseat MafiaSomething You Said and AAA Backstage.

In the live arena, Odd Tastes have performed multiple headline shows and shared stages with The Smith Street Band and The Bennies, as well as appearing at Queenscliff Music Festival in 2019.
