STAPLETON share visuals for latest single 'Running Blind'; Perth indie group announces 2022 tour dates!

Premiering online with tastemaker outlet Milky Milky Milky, Perth indie foursome STAPLETON have shared the official music video for their latest single, ‘Running Blind’.

The single, taken from the band’s sophomore EP Try To Keep In Touch, is a strong representation of STAPLETON’s artistic and musical identity. Steeped in strong songwriting and an intelligent grasp on tone and arrangement, STAPLETON have produced a clear statement of intent with ‘Running Blind’ and Try To Keep In Touch: Western Australia is producing some of the best Australian indie, pop and rock music right now, and they’re part of the new wave.
Directed by Cedric Tang and filmed by Tavian Ord, the ‘Running Blind’ film clip comes swathed in warm colours, matching the energy of the track itself.

“Thanks to a strange chain of circumstances, our singer Jon ended up moving house four times this year. We tried to explore the experience of creating the feeling of home in a new space.”
