Sunday Hunter drops deliciously delightful new track “BLEEDING HEARTS CLUB”

“Bleeding Hearts Club” is Sunday’s second solo-release. This track was written and produced entirely by Sunday, with Jason Millhouse from Recordworks Studios helping out with mixing and mastering.

According to Sunday, “Bleeding Hearts Club centres around a hypothetical club formed by people who share in their woes and recognition that the upper echelons of society such as politicians, corporations and the rich feed themselves, metaphorically, on the blood of the middle and lower classes.”

The track opens with ominous swirling bell synths, setting a dark tone before a heavy beat comes in, sounding like a pounding heart-beat. Along with an oriental sounding synth melody and arena style claps, Sunday’s vocals enter adding a haunting element to the opening.

The structure of the track evolves giving the listener a sense of being in a cult-like club, where the members chant along to the anthemic choruses and Sunday is the figurehead preaching the ideals of the Bleeding Hearts Club in the up-beat verses.

About Sunday Hunter

Sunday Hunter is a Brisbane-based singer/song-writer musician who produces her own unique blend of modern alternative hyper pop sounds that fuse together gritty guitar riffs, sweeping synths, punchy beats and disparate vocals.

Influenced by icons like Frank Zappa and DEVO, Sunday has previously fronted pop/rock bands, electronic/experimental duos and is now honing her craft as a producer and solo artist. She has previously supported treasured Aussie artists such as Sneaky Sound System and Magic Dirt.

After having a break from the music industry Sunday is back and coming in hot! Having recently released “June Baby”, a collaboration with Aussie artist Smitn, and her debut single “Reckless Deadly”, Sunday has many more releases set to come, including “Bleeding Hearts Club” dropping December 17th, 2021 and an EP slated for release in early 2022!
