Evanescence – 'Use My Voice' - Song Review

Legendary female fronted rock band Evanescence have recently released a music video for their empowering brand new track “Use My Voice”. This track is their 3rd release following “Wasted On You” and “The Game Is Over”, which are giving us a sweet taste of their new upcoming album “The Bitter Truth”. The video was released just 2 weeks ago and has over 1 million views which is no surprise as Evanescence have been around for a long time and vocalist Amy Lee has been empowering people for years with her talented ability to rock hard, play astounding piano and have some of the most powerful vocals in rock history.
The track is so powerful and is about standing up against the injustice of the world, with what has been going on lately, this track has a lot of meaning. The track itself starts off with the soft sounds of a piano accompanied by Lee’s soft but solid vocals as it builds into a crash of instruments and harmonies. The power that this song generates is phenomenal, just after the first half it gives me chills with the strong rhythm, strong vocals and powerful lyrics that pull this track together and make it incredible. The accompanying video is fierce and raw as it hits you like a wave of emotion and depicts the power of the track perfectly.
Evanescence are a incredible band and the fact that they can create something so meaningful during terrible times speaks volumes. This band prove time and time again just how spectacular and talented they are by releasing music that means something to so many people.
