Make Way For Man – 'Rites' - Song Review
REVIEW BY: EM VIOLET
Make Way for Man have recently announced the exciting news that they will be releasing an EP which will be out Friday September 18th. Not only that but they have also dropped a brand new track from it titled “Rites” which is the same title given to the upcoming EP.
The Perth have huge metalcore vibes but when it comes to genre they aren’t defined as each band member has different music influences which makes them unique with their sound. They have accomplished a lot as they have supported the likes of Trivium, Meshuggah, Polaris as well as going on a national tour.
Throughout the track listeners are gifted with heavy djent guitar riffs, and strong screams which is a treat for any metal core fans. The combination of screams and vocals through the song is perfect. The chorus is extremely catchy when the vocals accompany the heavy guitars and guitar licks. You can hear a few different genres in this track which is why this band is great and makes them unique from anything else.
There’s even a small rapping section towards the end of the track and is definitely a highlight.
To sum it up, the first taste of what’s to come from the EP is perfection and fans will certainly be keen to hear the rest of it.
