Badass bassist Blu DeTiger is widely known on Tik Tok for her incredible music ability - she can slap a mean bass. If you thought that was impressive, she has recently released her debut EP titled “How Did We Get Here” which is none other than pure perfection. The EP was released at the start of March. Off it, comes the insanely addictive and groovy track “Vintage”. This track on it’s own is pretty impressive but recently Australian duo Flight Facilities put their own little twist on it and created a remix version.
The remix is uniquely groovy with it’s use of guitar sounds and some synths and definitely is a new and different take on the track and it sure is a great listen. “Vintage” itself is widely impressive because the original track is mostly just bass and vocals and I love that. The bass makes up for basically everything other than a slight drum beat and the vocals and I can really appreciate that. Not only that, but the track is groovy as fuck. I love the use of the bass sounds and the vocals are really great to make a catchy tune.
“Vintage” is well written, catchy, groovy and all around a fun track. Flight Facilities remix of this track is just as fun, while adding some extra elements to create a different and unique take on it. Both versions of the song are equally as good as each other and if you haven’t heard them, do yourself a favour and listen to them.
