Bree Gregory is fresh and brand new with the music scene as she gets ready to release her debut track “Only You” which is a soulful R&B track that will blow you away.

With only discovering her musical abilities 2 years ago when hearing the opening theme song "Cold Little Heart" by Michael Kiwanaku from a TV show which she describes as crazy which just like that, changed everything as she began her journey as a songwriter.

Bree Gregory’s aura screams talent and you can tell just from listening to this new track - she was truly destined to write music.
Hailing from South Australia, the singer/songwriter takes strong influences from Black Pumas, Michael Kiwanaku, Curtis Harding and Celeste and has a really powerful passion for writing and creating soul music.

At the start of “Only You”, drums roll in as the groovy as hell rhythm sinks in underneath the soft and gorgeous vocals of Bree as she sings well-written lyrics that express deep feelings  from the intro into the verse and the words just sway softly in between the groove of the instruments. You will already fall in love with this track from the intro with its beautiful sounds that echo out and into your mind and just when you think things can’t get better, a small build up takes place before the chorus breaks in and sweeps you off your feet.

Powerful and incredible vocals that are filled with such soul project out on top of the grooviest bass line my ears have heard in a long time while backup vocals chime in behind to give the track a little flare to that R&B, soulful sound that just radiates completely before we are welcomed back into the slower paced verse. Something that is so impressive is how this musician can create something so strong and meaningful when she has only become acquainted with her songwriting abilities not so long ago.

“Only You” is bound to catch the hearts of everyone around Australia and even internationally - it’s just that good. Three minutes and twenty four seconds is not long enough for this track, I want more of that sweet, soulful goodness that is carried out throughout its entirety and with this being the debut then I cannot wait to see what her next release is like and hopefully it's soon because the suspense is already killing me.

To sum this up, Bree Gregory is an absolutely incredible artist.

Her songwriting skills and vocal abilities do more than prove that in this track as they shine through utterly and completely and have you sitting there absolutely infatuated with the sound and honestly just the song in general.
For a debut track, there is nothing more you could want from someone with so much talent and as I stated before, it will be very exciting to see what this artist brings to the table next as I will be running not walking to hit that play button and check it out.

We over at Rawing In The Pit are so happy to be able to review this golden release. It is out today so don’t hesitate to go and hear the goodness for yourself and give Bree some love on socials!
