Fans will be excited as Middle Kids have announced their second studio album titled “Today We’re The Greatest” along with 2021 tour dates while also releasing a brand new single off the new album titled “Questions”. This is their second single from the album and was followed after “R U 4 Me” which was released last year. “Questions” is the band's first release of 2021 and is definitely getting listeners excited for the album which is due to be released on March 19th 2021. Vocalist Hannah Joy describes that the song is about people being around each other but not being close.
It’s another great track from this band which has gained great response from fans that will have you hooked from the start. It has everything you need in an indie/pop song from the amazing, warm vocals, the great bass lines, strong rhythm, and great lyrics. All of these things mixed together create these amazing mellow tones that are throughout the track and just make it stand out from others. The vocals are so engaging and so powerful which is a highlight of this track and definitely with the other tracks - I just love the sound of Hannah’s voice and the way that it makes you feel. About half way into the song, all the instruments come together and erupt like a volcano and that’s when this track gets stuck in your head with it’s great melody and sound.
“Questions” is only around 3 minutes long and it’s definitely not long enough - I want more of it and I’m sure fans do too. The track as a whole is amazing, there’s no other word to describe it. All the elements I listed before are what makes this track so good and unique and will have you counting down the days until the new album arrives.
