Song Review - Spacey Jane - Booster Seat

REVIEW BY: ISABELLA URETA

Really starting to like this Western Australian rock band. This song is a beautiful song , it's emotional and moving ,the words/lyrics it kinda takes you down a memorie lane, I guess each person can relate to it in a different way. Kind of feels like a break up song too, like the lyrics describe something sad , and the rhythm of the song is soft, mellow, kinda sad. So when I hear it it makes me feel emotional. I’m not to sure what he is trying to express through this song, I feel like he's saying that his drifting through some emotional roller coaster, that he has some pain inside and you can tell it as he says in the song “they're words without the paper”

The video is pretty cool too , it kinda reminds me of the good times and the bad times I shared with special people in my life, even that video “forever young, i want to be forever young” It kinda reminds me of that song, with the video that is.

Sometimes you don’t appreciate the little moments in life that are so precious, even the shit ones which teach you lessons, unfortunately they never last forever, nothing ever does. So that being said this song to me is talking about the ego being hurt, trusting someone and then finding out they lied to you, or that everything they ever told you was a lie. And the thing is this stuff hurts, all you wanna do is erase it, like it never happened. He also mentions in the lyrics something like “drink a jug of mind eraser” . It's sad, the song made me feel emotional when I heard it.
