WEDNESDAY 13 – DEVIL INSIDE - Song Review

If you’re a fan of classic rock, you may have heard of INXS, a popular rock band mostly active in the 80’s and 90’s who have had many successful hits throughout the decades.
One of their most well known songs is ‘Devil Inside,’ a catchy riff-filled rock anthem about the devil in all of us, even though some wear it on our sleeves. Due to it’s success, this song has been reworked by singers and bands alike throughout the ages, and one of the best covers of it so far has just been released.
The American Wednesday 13 came to fruition in 2004, and have been rocking harder than any of us ever since. They’re a mix of heavy metal and horror glam punk which make them the perfect band to cover ‘Devil Inside.’ Joseph Poole’s voice goes almost too well with the hardcore fast paced banger, with vibes reminiscent of Marilyn Manson and God Smack.
The music video features stunning graphics with a variety of creepy scenes and an insane guitar performance. ‘Devil Inside’ is a undoubtedly a relentless punk hit, and a fantastic cover of a classic rock song.
