Dynamic rock out-fit MID CITY have today delighted fans by releasing new single ‘Good For It’ an early glimpse into the triumphant energy that permeates through MID CITY’s forthcoming EP ‘Wishing For The Best’ (out December 2020).
Of the track front-man Joel Griffiths writes “ This song is about what it's like to be on the wrong side of a crowd. Once labeled a villain - for right or wrong - where do you go? Are you the villain forever? Is there hope for redemption?"
Surging ahead with inescapable melodies and charging vocals, the song is a master stroke from MID CITY, highlighting the band's dynamism and performance strength.
The band are emphatic about their love and yearning for that inimitable effect live music can have on a person, and it's moments like 'Good For It' where the listener can hear this love for the craft in all its passion, intensity and ambition.
Joel's vocals soar against a powerful and uplifting fusion of guitars, percussion and harmonies as lyrics weave around the intricacies and complexities of a relationship in flux.
