When I think of Gippsland, I typically think of my favourite yogurt.

After today my fave treat will have to take a back bench because I will be thinking of Doonie Way. Thee new release ‘Stumblin’ is absolutely bursting.

What a cracking tune full of vibrancy and energy. This song is what your ISO needs. I listened to this in all my current fave quarantine spots. My bed, my floor, my desk, my kitchen and then even journeyed outside to  feel the sun on my face and listen to the catchy track.

My solo listening party journeyed a little out of control and I was sitting in my yard in with ZooperDooper in 18 degree weather, listening to this song on repeat. Tim Irwins vocal style is infectious, you feel an immediate connection to the band as soon as you hear his care-free, welcoming voice.

The song is definitely reminiscent of classic alt tracks but with a big surf rock sound that takes your breath away. When you scratch past the melodic baseline there is a song that is lyrically enchanting. Exploring the emotions and complexity around ending a relationship and moving on but continuing to care for that person. An all too relatable topic.

This is beautifully and delicately explored in a way that it floods you with the nostalgia and  that unparalleled feeling of new beginnings.  The song is relatable which makes it just that little bit more addictive, its groovy and fun and you will love it.
