Song Review - Adam Noviello - ‘ANOTHER YOU’

REVIEW BY: JADE GUIDA

If you have been sleeping on Adam Noviello, I don’t know what to say to you, other than, wake up and take notice.

Noviello is the best frosting on your favourite cake, buttery smooth and with a depth of flavour that just lingers in your mouth well beyond the final bite.

There is a certain quality, a richness almost to Noviello that I touched on when I reviewed the last song release. They have this enigmatic quality as a musician that is truly other worldly. Another You which was released earlier this month is masterful. It is so delicate and yet so rich in context and emotion.
This song is like a piece of fine gold thread hanging the rarest of gems. You can’t help but want to examine it, hold it, consume it.

The more you delve into its extraordinary richness, the more you realize the fragility and beauty of the piece and the even more, so you understand the true genius that is Adam Noviello. Noviello is an emotive writer, you are captivated and thrown i to their stories, catapulted by the words and drawn into the story by the swirling synth like melodic drawl of the music. Another You is the siren song, Noviello the King of the Fae, drawing you in to their realm and refusing to let you go. Another You is a story of love and aching, that intangible and yet all to well-known longing for someone, for something, it is the lump in your throat or that buzz in your chest when you cross eyes with someone.

This song is extraordinary.

The accompanying clip is a cinematic masterpiece and perfectly draws together the song, the book ends holding together the story that is Another You. Noviello creates journeys through music, pulls on your emotions and presents you with a summation of human emotion in a neat little package
