Veteran is the Debut single of artist Prchr. (Pronounced Percher). It is indisputable that Alternative music is not only making a huge comeback as a popular genre but as time has progressed so has our definition of alternative music and so has the genre itself.

There is so much diversity and promise in upcoming artist especially those in the Rock space and Prchr. is carving out a space and throne which he firmly intends to occupy. Prchr. is a Gold Coast local who has grown up on a steady diet of grunge, blues and other alternative musicians and is now throwing his hat in the ring to create in the same space as his idols.

Prchr. is a clever musician and an evocative song writer. This is stunning and masterful story telling reminiscent of classic bands like Silverchair and Pink Floyd but with the sparkle and electricity of Modern acts like Trophy Eyes and Waax. This song is a creative piece written to perfection and beautifully highlights the talents of its creator.

Veteran is cleverly crafted; it has a beautiful warm and bluesy tone but also a sharpness cementing a place in the alternative genre. The lyrics tell a fictional tale of one being cast aside after constantly benefiting the ignorant individuals who are drawn to success. It is a song with conviction and a warning. Veteran has been created to share a message, to highlight the very nature of humanity and paths individuals can take.

The song is a journey and provides insight in to the complex and creative mind of its creator. Don’t sleep on this track.
