“I'd happily let Eliza & The Delusionals soundtrack my entire life” - Triple J, Claire Mooney

Brisbane indie-rockers Eliza and the Delusionals have smashed it by releasing a brand new single titled “Nothing Yet” which is none other than amazing, and if that’s not enough to put a smile on your face, the band have also announced a string of East Coast tour dates that are set for early next year. There’s nothing that makes me more happy than new music and a tour from one of the best bands in Australia at the moment in my opinion (and I hope yours too if you’re reading this).
This is the third track we’ve heard this year from the four-piece with “YOU” back in May and “Save Me” in July which by the way are all a catchy as fuck 00’s pop dream that create this huge nostalgic feeling and make you fall in love with them. Every track they release is never a disappointment and I think that’s a huge reason why I admire them a lot - there’s so much talent there within each member individually and together as a band.

“Nothing Yet” has so much to offer with it’s captivating guitars and nostalgic melodies that intertwine with the solid rhythm section and relatable lyrics. The band have gone in a slightly different direction with the newer tracks having more of a pop influence throughout but still capturing the attention of listeners with it’s enthralling hooks that will wrap themselves around your brain and have you addicted.
Vocalist Eliza Klatt is on point as always with her amazing vocals and relatable lyrics that we all connect with and love deeply.

If you have read this far then thank you for listening to me gush over one of my favourite bands in the Aus music scene, I hope you can listen and fall in love with them as much as I have.
Now, my concluding thoughts - Eliza and the Delusionals have YET again created another great track that showcases the talent and spark they have. “Nothing Yet” is guaranteed to be stuck in your head until you add it to your favourite playlist and play it on repeat. If you haven’t listened to it by now, I’m really not sure what you’re doing….go...listen…..now.
