Song Review - Five Finger Death Punch - The Tragic Truth

Five Finger Death Punch are back at it again as they drop a lyric video for track “The Tragic Truth”. The band have been around since 2005 and have always brought out such great heavy metal tracks that people know and love. Fans respect them for the story telling they convey in their songs along with the raw lyrics that they can relate to and this track showcases that.
This track has that great Five Finger Death Punch sound - with slower verses and then smashing into heavier chorus’ that involve screams and the heavy strums of guitars. A highlight of this song is the acoustic riff at the start mixed with the softer vocals from vocalist Ivan Moody - that really makes you feel things once you first hear it.
When it comes to lyrics, this band always has deep and heavy meanings to their songs that really resonate with their fans. The lyric video that was recently released for this track uses good tones that really match the song and help reach the mood that the track goes for. It is also well transitioned and in my opinion is one of the better lyrics videos that I’ve seen.
“The Tragic Truth” is a track that is instrumentally and lyrically strong. Everything intertwines with each other and creates this sound that hits you hard. The lyric video also goes perfectly with the song which the fans are enjoying. I can’t wait to see what this band does next as they are always dropping great music.
