Praise for Jess Locke

“Australia has a flood of amazing rock artists in the wings posted to break through on an international level - a la Courtney Barnett or Gang of Youths. Melbourne artist Jess Locke has pushed her way to the forefront of this talented pack.” - The Guardian

"Jess Locke has again shown why she's one of the country's most exciting emerging indie rock stars." - Double J

"…a songwriter capable of balancing introspective reflection with pop-skewed accessibility"
- Rolling Stone

Melbourne based artist Jess Locke is at it again with yet another brilliant track titled “Dead & Gone” which is the follow up track of “Fool”, released in July 2020 and “Destory Everything”, released back in October 2020. Being her first single of the new year she really smashes it out of the park again with this great indie/pop song. These tracks are taken off the artist’s third album which is due to drop in March 2021 so fans can get excited for that from these three great tracks that have been teasing us for the album.

“Dead & Gone” is an acoustic indie/pop track which Jess is known for creating because she does it so well. The mixture of the guitar and her sweet vocals are always incredible - take that and blend it with her great lyrics and you’ve got a terrific song that needs to be added to more playlists. The tones are calm just like most of the artists' tracks which I really enjoy and it’s just a great track to listen to.

I’m sure that listeners are very excited for the new album coming out as we are mesmerised with the talent that Jess Locke showcases through this new track. You can definitely listen to this song for hours and not get tired of it and I’m sure it will be the same for the album. If you haven’t heard this song yet, check it out!
