Hailing from the nation's capital Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers are back with an absolute banger of a track titled “Miss Your Birthday” which premiered on triple J Good Nights and received a whole lotta love from fans all around. The band’s last single “AHHHH!” racked up an amazing 600,000 streams on Spotify and saw their talent really shine through. Along with the track, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers have announced a headline tour that will see them take to Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
“Miss Your Birthday” is great from start to finish with it’s catchy melodies and great lyrics that really draw you in from the first few notes. Listeners are welcomed with the sounds of a guitar which is followed by hard hitting drums that travel into an extremely addictive verse and brings everything together. It makes for a simple yet strong sound that has a lot of grunge vibes - not to mention that the vocals are captivating and the lyrics will become stuck in your head after the first listen of this track.
This is another 10/10 track from the four-piece as they create such a great grungy sound that works so well every time. Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers are certainly another fantastic Australian band to watch out for.

Channelling Riot Grrrl-era energy with a 2021 spin, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers are the most natural, unapologetic and damn likeable punk-rockers you’ll meet.
Formed during high school in their hometown of Canberra, Teen Jesus burst onto the scene in 2019 and quickly snapped attention for their teenage ragamuffin image and searingly good garage punk sound. The group cut their teeth playing festivals including BIGSOUND, Groovin’ The Moo, Laneway, Falls, Lost Paradise & Spilt Milk, supporting a slew of Australia’s finest including Polish Club, Alex Lahey, Press Club, WAAX & more, while impressing with a sprinkle of standout single releases.
As of 2021, the band have graduated into an astute group of 20 year-olds – just as concerned about issues facing today’s women and young people as they are with their loud, badass and completely cool punk sound.
