The Atomic Beau Project - Time - Song Review
REVIEW BY: JADE GUIDA
I mean quarantine sucks balls, but if I’m honest it’s meant I have listened to a crap ton of new music and one New track I have fallen in deep sin love with is ‘Time’ by Brisbane’s prog powerhouse The Atomic Beau Project.
If you haven’t had your ears and mind blown by this band they deliver a sound that is a smooth emulsion of prog rock, indie and metal. This newest song has a bit of an eery feel to it, like you stumbled in to a forest and ended up trapped in the Fae realm. The song sits in this beautiful fragile space with lead singer Beau’s immaculately controlled vocals underpinning the bands complex sound.
The song largely takes you on a journey both with lyrics, musicality and a cracking film clip.
From just a few listens and watches, you start to feel this nagging sense of longing and a desire to throw yourself in to everything you love and not to waste a minute of time. There is a lot of power in this song. The Atomic Beau Project are a band to watch out for, clever and emotive song writers that are sure to have you from the very first listen.
