Melbourne based, woman-fronted nurse punk band Würst Nürse is back at it with another intense power punk hit called ‘Fresh Outta Bedpans.’ In 2018 they released their debut EP ‘Hot Hot Hot’ which quickly climbed charts and earned them their much deserved recognition with fans and fellow artists alike.

Multitudes of challenges across all walks of life have come with the COVID-19 pandemic, with there being no shortage of complications for healthcare workers – which Würst Nürse members are. They wrote ‘Fresh Outta Bedpans’ about handling situations that are out of our control, just like the pandemic, and have created a fast, intense, power punk track that you won’t be able to get out of your head. ‘Fresh Outta Bedpans’ has Würst Nürse’s signature sound for sure, but their growth and evolution as artists is also evident throughout the track. This punk-rock hit is filled with faced-paced guitar riffs that’ll bring you back to the good old days of 90’s punk rock, strong, powerful vocals, and lyrics that hit so close to home. All frontline workers have been faced with continual dilemmas throughout the pandemic, raising thoughts, emotions and frustrations much like are released in this power-punk ballad.

If you’re into fast-paced, powerful punk sounds with vocals that blend perfectly, Würst Nürse is the band for you. We need more female-centric bands and Würst Nürse is an incredible role model for others out there in the industry. They have recently finished recording their new EP, slate for release sometime in 2021, and ‘Fresh Outta Bedpans’ is just the tip of the iceberg for what they have in store for us. Check out ‘Fresh Outta Bedpans’ on streaming platforms, available now – but beware, you won’t be able to stop listening!
