'FURNACE' music video added to ABC's rage

Delaire The Liar’s newest single, No Thanks, is a leap into one of our deepest fears, misguided trust.

It’s easy to get lost in the sounds, as the music is almost a lullaby of gothic rock; the music itself takes you somewhere else, as it’s almost calming for a punk song. However, how they use it accompanied with the lyrics, takes you on a journey to your inner self.

No Thanks is raw and powerful. It plays on the fears that many of us have. The fear that is what if trusting in others could be a bad thing and what if doing so, could mean you come out the other side hurt. This song seems very personal. It is almost like a warning message, not saying don’t trust but be wary of whom you trust; trusting the wrong person could be more painful than you think.

Ffin Colley voice is something else. He hits the high notes in such a way that you can’t not pay attention to him. This is what you need for a song like this. Ffin’s voice is so smooth, without missing a beat, that when he hits the high notes on lines such as “this is why I hate your help”, and “please don’t leave me by myself”, it can really affect you.

This is the third song they’ve released in the last five months, and I honestly can’t wait for more. They have released hit after hit, with no signs of slowing down. Their creative flair, which has the potential of evoking your emotions and making you dig deeper into yourself, is amazing.
