Sydney quartet Loretta, I would say are one of the more underrated indie bands in the scene, think along the lines of a baby 1975 x LANY with added synth. Making an entrance on the scene only a few years ago, Loretta have dropped some beautiful singles and an EP. Hopefully we can see another EP or full length album from them in the near future…

Loretta’s new track Late Night recalls the period of time immediately after meeting someone and being completely head over heels. It's the kind of song you put on when you're in a good mood, but you still have that person in the back of your mind — When you wanna be a little sad, but not ruin your makeup. The production is super clean and the whole vibe and essence of this tune is a dream.

I love that the band constantly uses fun synth chords and loops to make the track pop and this track is no different, it makes the track super bright and a little bit disco-esque. The lyrics are fun and lighthearted and I can even see this featuring in a netflix coming of age special. The band only has a small discography at this time, but always capturing moments in time, certain experiences and emotions is something they do so well.
